Abstract Background: The approach to vascular access in children with CHD is a complex decision-making process that may have long-term implications. To date, evidence-based recommendations not been established inform this process. Methods: RAND/UCLA Appropriateness Method was used develop miniMAGIC, including sequential phases: definition of scope and key terms; information synthesis literature review; expert multidisciplinary panel selection engagement; case scenario development; appropriateness ratings by via two rounds. Specific were made for CHD. Results: Recommendations the selection, characteristics, insertion technique intravenous catheters both univentricular biventricular physiology. Conclusion: miniMAGIC-CHD provides criteria catheter
